The massive online retailer included freight forwarders Forward Freight India as one of its logistics partners when it introduced Amazon Freight India, although that was only in the first few days of February. On April 13, Amazon listed a number of freight forwarders, including the online store Bigbox Express. Then last week, Bigbox Express was listed on Amazon's marketplace once more. Amazon now employs more than 40 freight forwarders in India. Some were listed in July, such as Forward Freight India.Amazon said nothing about the freight forwarders' future plans. Because of the tremendous need for online marketplaces, agreements between freight forwarders and e-tailers have become more common. Recently, a number of freight forwarders have partnered with online retailers in an attempt to convey more cargo to India.
